Taking Care Of Your Body

Studies have shown that many health problems are related to personal lifestyle choices. Hence, making the right personal choices can lead to better health. Stay active Physical activity can help you reach and maintain a good health regardless of your age, even if you are disabled or limited by chronic illness. It doesn't take marathon training to stay active. Simply doing chores around the house, walking briskly, dancing, swimming, etc., is all most people need. Remember, only you can make it work. Eat Healthy   Take charge of your body by eating healthy foods (balanced diet), avoid overeating and drinking enough water. Avoid substances such as tobacco products, excessive alcohol consumption and too much sugar. Get Enough Sleep  Sleep helps keep your mind and body healthy. Prolonged sleep deprivation is associated with risks for serious illnesses. By choosing to have enough sleep, you choose to live better.
